Cotton yarn information:
1. On April 9th, cotton yarn futures prices rose while spot prices remained stable. New orders from textile enterprises are limited, and there are signs of market downturn. At present, the mixed spinning market is in good condition, with an increase in order volume, and some textile companies have raised their prices. Enterprises are gradually using newly purchased cotton for spinning, further compressing their profit margins, and small and medium-sized enterprises are basically on the brink of small profits or losses.
2. Recently, due to a shortage of workers, the operating rate of Vietnamese textile factories has generally decreased, with some small factories operating at only about 2/3, affecting the release of production capacity. In terms of internal sales, the supply of Vietnamese yarn is generally scarce, and pre-sale orders have been scheduled until the end of April. The price advantage of black yarn and low count yarn from Kazakhstan is obvious, which has a significant impact on domestic low count yarn. Overall, the differentiation pattern of high and low count varieties in the imported yarn market continues, and traders are cautious in trading. Downstream enterprises mainly focus on essential procurement.
3. Recently, there has been a structural rebound in organic recycling orders in the home textile printing and dyeing market, with small orders being the main form of fast response. The home textile market saw a surge in inquiries and samples in late March, and orders gradually landed in early April. Domestic "dual carbon" and textile green standards have been upgraded, and domestic brands have begun to purchase organic recycled products in bulk.
Chemical fiber information:
1. On April 9th, the polyester staple fiber market continued to fluctuate, with a mainstream price of 8170 yuan/ton, an increase of 10 yuan from the previous trading day.
2. Recently, some major adhesive short fiber manufacturers have seen an increase in transactions, with rumors of varying prices, while other factories are maintaining a wait-and-see attitude.
Financial News:
1. The General Plan for China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone, recently issued by the State Council, was released to the public on April 9th. At this point, China's pilot free trade zones have expanded to 23.
2. According to sources, Iran has stated that it will not participate in peace talks with the United States until a ceasefire is achieved in Lebanon. The negotiations between Israel and Lebanon are expected to begin early next week.
3. The World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and United Nations World Food Programme warned on Wednesday that the sharp rise in oil, gas, and fertilizer prices caused by the Middle East conflict will inevitably lead to increased food prices and worsening food security issues. The statement pointed out that there is a surge in fuel prices and a potential significant increase in food prices.
